About Wow By Jeanne

Most of us couldn't be convinced to do anything to our houses before selling them. After all who of us has the time, energy and money to put into a house especially when we are planning to leave it. Well, times have changed.

If you want top dollar and less time on the market when you are selling your home, preparation is the key to achieving these ends.

At Wow by Jeanne, we help you prepare your home for sale so that you can be assured you will get the most return in your equity in the shortest amount of time on the market. We work with you to showcase all the home's attributes and have the buyers fall in love completely as they tour your home. It is important for buyers to be able to"mentally move in" as they tour your home. Our goal is to have buyers remembering your home as the the ONE they want to come home to.

The host of HGTV series Design to Sell , Clive Pearse says, "Consider me a convert. I'll never unwittingly plunk a "For Sale" sign in my yard without first having perked up my property similar to how it's done on Designed to Sell. Who would ever have thought that such a small investment-just $2000 - in sprucing up a home could bring such a juicy return?"

Your investment in staging will less than your first price reduction.

Here's how we work:

3 Step process:

Step 1:

Staging consultation: We meet with the seller at their home to determine exactly what needs to be done. We walk through every room in the home and prepare a room by room report of things that need to be done even before the home goes on the market. The consultation can take as little time as 2 hours. The report that you receive will be an invaluable tool for you to use as you prepare your home to go on the market. We create a "To Do list" that prioritizes things like:
Painting and repairs
Eliminating furniture and accessories
Clearing closets and cupboards
Detailed cleaning, even in the garage
Yard trimming/maintenance
Prioritize what to update
What to budget for updates

Step 2:
The seller completes the work on the to do list. When the seller is strapped for time, we can do as little or as much of the to do list tasks for the seller as they need. We will be prepared to quote you on any job with which you need help.

Step 3:
Showcase staging: Once the to do list is completed, we return to showcase or put finishing touches on the property. This is a creative process that usually transforms spaces by:
Rearrangin existing furniture
Creating "point of purchase" displays or vignettes in every room.
Eliminating and or adding furniture/accessories.

"Buyers only know what they see, not the way it's going to be"

Sellers often will comment that their house never looked so good. In their new home they may want help arranging furnishings and accessories. Think of us as a budget "design service". We work with your existing furnishings and give your home that designer touch you always wanted.

Meet Jeanne
At ten years of age, I begged my grandma to teach me how to sew. By the time I was 13 years old, I was sewing bridesmaid dresses for my sister's wedding. I have always loved to sew and create things. As a hobby, today I design and create fun outer ware for my brand "Extreme Rouge" for the Red Hat Ladies. My dad was a painter, re-modeler and redecorator. I learned from the best. I have a degree in marketing and spent the past 27 years as a sales professional in business to business sales. I've worked for corporations like Xerox, Johnson & Johnson, Pitney Bowes and Yale Mechanical. I jokingly tell people today that the only latter I am climbing is my own. When I am at the top of my latter, I am slinging paint. I love what I do today. I finally am using my left brain talent, my executive side with my right brain talent, my incredibly gifted and talented creative side and am having a great time. When I first began to show people my work, the first word out of their mouths was, "WOW". The rest is history. I am passionate about what I do for my clients and it shows in my work. I completed my ASP™, Accredited Staging Professional, designation last year with Barb Schwarz, creator of www.stagedhomes.com. This year I was awarded the CSP™, Certified Staging Professional designation from the international staging organization called Canadian Staging Professionals www.csptraining.com. These organizations are the leading staging trainers in the industry. Through my affiliation with these organizations I keep up to date with the latest and greatest techniques.

"Thanks you so much for giving my very ugly bathroom a make over. The colors you picked out and the faux painting you did are so beautiful. I love the new shower curtain and towels. You did not leave out any detail. I love my new bathroom. Thank you so much for getting this long wanted project done in one day."
